Perched on a hillside in the beautiful Byron Bay hinterland, this house blends with the natural native landscape and hillside and has become part of the flora and fauna of the site. The house is ‘layered’ with wide eaves and generous roof lines to shade the occupants during summer yet allowing the winter sunshine to reach in and warm the burnished concrete floor. The house is oriented due North and glazing has been carefully positioned to frame elements of the hinterland view, Mt Chincogan and the Nightcap ranges to name a few. This house provides daily inspiration for the occupants, providing beautiful living spaces whilst showcasing the natural environment
